A demand model for a whole district in minutes

Building age, envelope, use, volume and footprint are read from national datasets and turned into hourly load profiles per address. Whole countries are pre-processed, so the data-collection phase that normally eats the first month of a study simply does not happen.

Cooling is not an afterthought

Cooling demand is forecast alongside heating and domestic hot water, so heating-and-cooling and 5ᵗʰ-generation networks can be sized on both loads, and on the recovery potential between a data centre and the flats next door.

    Switzerland is fully pre-processed, with worldwide coverage expanding. In any case, you can upload your own data.

  • Do I need consumption data to start?

    No. The model produces a full forecast from geodata alone; metered data improves it when you have it.

  • What resolution are the profiles?

    Hourly per building, over a full year — the resolution needed to size sources, storage and pipes rather than just estimate an annual total.
