TESSA 6.2 is a polish-and-power release: more dependable background jobs, demand models you can tune, and quality-of-life touches that make daily work faster.

Highlights

  • Reliable task completion notifications: Background jobs no longer appear stuck when your connection drops, and everyone viewing a scenario refreshes automatically when a job finishes.
  • Financial report shows total billed heat and CAPEX per kWh.
  • Updated default costs for booster heat pumps and borehole drilling.
  • Comparison export has a separate unit column and plain numeric values.
  • Fixes: Corrected several KPI calculations, fixed a crash in the borehole field sizing tool, and showed verified construction class labels for buildings.

This release also includes the following improvements since version 6.1

v6.2.2

  • Climate inspector shows minimum and maximum daily mean temperatures and the absolute extremes.
  • AI assistant can simulate building demands and load curves.
  • Live renaming: Renaming an item in any inspector updates the tree immediately.

v6.2.3

  • Configurable demand models: Heating, cooling and DHW demand models expose their own parameters. TABULA is now one model with a country selection.
  • Demand Ninja parametric mode: Compute annual heating, cooling and DHW from power coefficients (kW/K) per building or per district, with exact per-building peak loads.
  • Separate heating and cooling sizing: Thermal sources that serve both modes are sized against both demands, with a priority rule to resolve conflicts.
  • Tool favourites: Star tools in the Tools dialog to list them first.
  • Shape area and length are shown in the properties of map features and layers.
  • AI assistant can run every tool you are allowed to use.
  • Fixes: TABULA runs without a load curve, and Demand Ninja no longer distorts the comfort temperature when humidity is high or low.

v6.2.4

  • Project favourites and recent projects: Pin projects to the left navigation bar. It also lists the projects you opened most recently.
  • Email verification: You must verify your email address before logging in.

v6.2.5 & v6.2.6

  • Extend thermal network layout: The extend tool now sets building heat sources correctly and connects nearby buildings it previously missed.
  • Building data fixes: Building IDs are unique across all districts in a scenario, missing construction periods are marked "unknown", and missing hot-water demand per area is filled in.

v6.2.7

  • Geothermal source-side pumping power: Geothermal systems now account for the pumping power on the source side.
  • Disconnected network errors: Simulations on a network with disconnected parts now stop with an error instead of finishing without flow results.
  • Task errors stay visible until you dismiss them.
